My Little Rant of Love and Clothes All Mixed Into One
Hello my darlings, Amy again (of course). Something I have always been interested in is clothing design. I'm interested in the DIY stuff and attempting to make it myself (which usually ends up as another trial and ERROR but it's still something I enjoy). Today I was watching a video on how to make a hooded shirt from an oversized Tee and I did it! I actually did it! I am so proud of myself. Unfortunately, I won't be wearing it in public because the tutorial called for a Large or XLarge and I used a Small (^u^) so it only covers the top of my head to my bust. The purpose of this post though is that I really want all of you to be creative and make what you WANT. Wear what you WANT. Be who you WANT. Clothing is a way we cover up ourselves, but we should show ourselves even through the covering. (woah Amy, gettin' a little deep for some of the kiddies) Well I feel the best way to show ourselves is wear what we've made and created and let other people see it and know who we are. Some people aren't into sewing and that is totally cool, but some of you are and you might not know it yet, or you do know it yet and you haven't tried, or you have tried and you are wearing your creation right this second. That is beautiful. To be wrapped in art and hard work.
This was just my little rant of love and clothes all mixed into one. If it didn't make sense to you, I'm sorry but it's way past my bed time. It's, omahgoodness, it's 1:31 am. I do need sleep. Well good night to all of you and sweet dreams. I hope you guys have fun doing what you're doing.

P.S. Here's the link to the video I mentioned earlier. It's pretty cool.

A fashion tip: Where a belt with a larger buckle and show it off!
Sewn Side Top
· You will need:
· A T-shirt that’s too big for you
· Scissors
· Ruler
Directions
1. Try on the shirt to see how far to cut around the waist and chest.
2. Cut on the side of the shirt depending how far you measured. Start at the bottom and go to the top. You can do this on one side or both if you want.
3. After you’ve cut the strips tie a knot connecting the shirt together.
Just wear this shirt with a pleated skirt or jeans and accessorize however you want. Now you have an adorable out-fit!
Braid Belt
1. You'll need 9 ribbons that look good together. All the ribbons need to be long enough to wrap around your waist 1 1/2 times.
2. Tie 3 strings together and then braid it. Then tie a not at the end. (Do this with the other ribbons)
3. Tie the 3 braids together and braid those too.
4. Sew or glue (using fabric glue of course!) the belt to a belt buckle.
Just pair this up with a cute white blouse or t- shirt. Then put on jeans or a cute skirt.
Whaddya think about that?
Nice
